Celine founder Céline Viviana was inspired to create the ‘Triomphe’ motif when her car broke down on the Place De L ‘Etoile, right in front of the Parisian monument, back in 1972. This logo-print ‘Cabas’ tote is crafted from hard-wearing coated-canvas and comes with a detachable shoulder strap.

In 1945, Céline Vipiana (1915-1997) and her husband, Richard, created one of the first luxury brands in the industry, Céline, a made-to-measure children’s shoe business, and opened a first boutique at 52 rue Malte in Paris. The brand was recognised by its logo, the red elephant created by Raymont Peynet.
Celine was originally found in 1945 by Céline Vipiana and her husband. The original concept was a made-to-measure children’s shoe boutique. The brand has come a long way since then. In these days the Celine logo was a distinct red elephant logo. The brand soon expanded to ready-to-wear apparel for the everyday woman which included wool suits, leather vests, fitted professional shirts, and pastel denim.
In the 60s, Celine launched a shoe line and ventured into the luxury perfume industry. Soon after, leather accessories were added to the selection including belts, bags, and gloves. Since those days, Celine has gone international opening boutiques in cities like Beverly Hills and Hong Kong.
Appointed in 1997, Michael Kors revolutionized the brand with groundbreaking designs when he was lead designer. Kors brought about ingenious sportswear luxury designs and other jet-setter designs.
