The Black Bay celebrates 60 years of diving watches with extraordinary heritage. The iconic model inherits the general lines, as well as the domed dial and crystal from the first diving watches. It borrows the characteristic angular hands, known as snowflake, from the watches delivered in large quantities to the French National Navy in the 1970s.  Fitted with a manufacture Calibre MT5612 self-winding mechanical movement and offers a 70-hour power reserve and a rotating bezel with 60-minute anodised aluminium disc. This watch is also water resistant to 200 metres. Aesthetically, this timepiece presents a 41mm stainless steel case with polished, satin finish and a black domed dial equipped with luminescent hands and hour markers and a date window at 3 o’clock. The Black Bay collection is a modern embodiment of Tudor’s iconic Submariner design, featuring an extraordinary self-winding mechanical Tudor movement with bidirectional rotor system.  Coordinated with a stainless-steel bracelet with folding clasp and safety catch.

About Tudor*

Tudor is a Swiss manufacturer of luxury wristwatches based in Geneva, Switzerland. Registered in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf, the brand remains a sister company to Rolex, both companies being owned by the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation. Over time, Tudor became well-known for its tool watches, producing watches for professional divers and the military. Between the 1960s and 1980s, several navies issued Tudor Submariners to their divers, including the US Navy SEALs and the French Marine Nationale (French Navy).
