About the love collection, the studded Love bracelet was first introduced to the public in 1979, ten years after the original was designed. Aldo Cipullo, the designer behind Cartier’s iconic Love and Juste un clou bracelet. “What modern people want are love symbols that look semi-permanent, or at least require a trick to remove,” Cipullo once said of his design, which requires a miniature screwdriver to assist in securing or removing the bracelet. “After all, love symbols should suggest an everlasting quality.” The bracelets are made in precious metals and can be adorned by diamonds.
